Hi friend, I’m Courtney – an eating disorder dietitian turned Designer

My journey as a designer began when I was trying to find a way to represent my private practice online in a way that was true to who I am, embodied the values of weight-inclusivity, and fostered trust with potential clients.

I want other weight-inclusive providers in private practice to feel empowered with their online presence too!

By partnering with me, you’ll get more than just a website; you’ll get an expert who can help you create an online space that aligns with your values and creates meaningful connections between you and your clients.

My Story

You’re probably wondering how a nutritionist ended up here, right?

It’s one of those stories that began with an unexpected passion.

I found myself spending hours on creating and designing my website, marketing materials, client experience materials and more – not because I had to but because I actually enjoyed it!

It was something I never expected to love doing so much.

Soon enough, others were asking for help with their materials, then the word spread further and more people started asking for help.

Before I knew it, what had once been a hobby was quickly becoming something far greater – a love for strategic website and brand design specifically tailored for those in private practice who practice from a weight-inclusive approach.

Your brand and website should be an indication of the quality of services you provide; one that captures attention and speaks volumes about your credibility.

You don’t have to go through the process alone – I’m here to guide you step by step in bringing your vision alive with an aesthetically pleasing and functional brand and website that will add real value to your business!

Why Declet?

It probably sounds unusual, I know. But, I wanted a name that was unique and that meant something to me. I know that ‘smushing’ two names together isn’t necessarily revolutionary, but it’s what felt right to me.

So, you guessed it, ‘Declet’ is a mashup of my children’s names.

My mission is to help weight-inclusive entrepreneurs in private practice promote their services in a visually compelling way without compromising their core values.

I understand that the appearance and composition of a brand and website can have an immense impact on how potential clients perceive you and your business, so I am committed to creating brands and websites that reflect our clients’ unique brand identity while conveying the important message that they value all body sizes.

Weight Inclusivity

As an eating disorder survivor and a Dietitian who practices from a weight-inclusive lens, I am committed to providing strategic website and brand design for practitioners in private practice who practice from a weight-inclusive approach.

My goal as a designer is to inspire weight-inclusive business owners by providing them with high quality website and brand designs that accurately reflect their values.

I approach every decision and interaction with integrity. That means that I will always be honest and transparent with potential clients and clients alike.
