Dietitian Turned Designer

Explore the intersection of design, dietetics, and learning how to
build a successful and weight-inclusive business.

Build an online presence

We’re talking expert tips on how to create a killer website that appeals to all your potential clients, while also celebrating every body type out there. And don’t worry, we won’t make you feel bad about that one time you used Comic Sans.

We’ve all been there, my friend.

Streamline your business

We love chatting about all things related to workflows, automations, and SEO – you know, the fancy jargon that makes your online business run like a well-oiled machine.

By the time we’re done, you’ll be growin’ your audience faster than Taylor Swift dropping a new album!

Design for inclusivity

Get ready to learn how to align your values with your online presence and empower your clients to feel confident and inspired. It’s time to channel your inner Beyoncé and show the world what you’re made of.

Because let’s be honest, who run the world? It’s you, boo!

Wait, what is a weight-inclusive business?

A weight-inclusive business is one that prioritizes creating an environment that is free from weight stigma and promotes body positivity.

It recognizes that weight is not an indicator of health and aims to provide inclusive services for people of all sizes.

This podcast is not limited to private practices or dietitians, but instead focuses on how any business can become values-driven and inclusive, and features conversations with experts who share those same values.

Hi there, lovely listeners!

I’m Courtney Vickery, your host for Dietitian Turned Designer – the podcast where we explore the exciting intersection of design and dietetics.

By day, I’m a registered dietitian who is passionate about helping individuals recover from eating disorders and build a positive relationship with food.

But by night, I transform into a website designer who helps businesses and private practices create weight-inclusive websites that celebrate and empower all bodies.

My journey as a designer began when I realized that there was a need for more inclusive and trustworthy websites in the health and wellness industry. As a result, I started my own design business to help providers like me create online spaces that align with their values and foster meaningful connections with their clients.

Through this podcast, I hope to share my expertise and insights with fellow professionals looking to elevate their online presence. Whether you’re a seasoned entrepreneur or just starting out, I want to empower you to create a website and brand that truly represents you and your business.

So, let’s embark on this exciting journey together, and learn how to build successful and inclusive online businesses.
