athens, ga website designer for private practices

Most websites don't book clients because they were built without strategy. We do strategy first, then a custom WordPress site that actually works.

First, we build the strategy you'll pull out every time you write, hire, or launch. Then we apply it to a custom WordPress site that finally pulls its weight.

Most brand and website projects work like this...

You fill out a vibey questionnaire.
Somebody picks your fonts.
You get a pretty site.

And then six months later, when you're writing a freebie, hiring a VA, or sending a sales email, you're back to making it up as you go.

The site looked great in the launch screenshot.
But the strategy underneath it? It never existed.
Or it died in someone's Notion doc the day after kickoff.

So every time you sit down to write anything (email subject line, Instagram caption, sales page, onboarding doc) you're starting over.

Trying to remember what you said about yourself last time. Wondering if this matches the home page copy you approved nine months ago.

That's not a website problem.

It's a missing-foundation problem.

A website is one application of your brand strategy.

It's not the strategy itself.

So when someone builds you a website without first building the strategy, you're not buying a brand.

You're buying a snapshot of one. And snapshots go out of date the second your business shifts.

What you actually need: the document everything else gets built from.
(The website still happens. We promise. It's just not the headline.)

Before we touch a single font, we build your strategy.

A strategic foundation you'll use for years

Not a vibe board. Not a mood.

Before any design work begins, we go deep on who you're actually trying to reach, what makes your practice different from the other weight-inclusive dietitians in your area, and what your ideal client needs to see and feel before they trust you enough to book.

You'll come out of this phase with a custom brand strategy guide, 50+ pages that covers your positioning, your messaging, your audience, your differentiators, and the visual direction that ties it all together.

It's the document your whole website is built from.

It's also the thing you'll pull out every time you write an email, create a freebie, or wonder "does this feel on brand?"

You'll get:

  • Audience positioning: who you're talking to, what they need to hear, what makes them book vs bounce
  • Differentiation: what makes you different from the other weight-inclusive dietitians in your zip code (and your country)
  • Messaging foundation: the language you'll pull from every time you write an email, a post, a freebie, a sales page
  • Brand voice: documented well enough that a future VA or copywriter can open this PDF and sound like you
  • Visual direction: palette, type, photography, the reason behind every call
  • Your values and non-negotiables: the stuff that filters bad fit clients out before they ever land in your inbox

SHE'S THE BEYONCE/TSWIFT OF WEB DESIGN AND SUCH A WONDERFUL HUMAN TO WORK WITH!

I was blown away at the finished product and I loved how detail oriented Courtney was.

I recommend Courtney to anyone who wants to elevate their website or brand from DIY to "big leagues."

Now the website

(now we apply the strategy)

An 8 to 10 page custom WordPress site, built on the strategy, optimized for local search, written so your future clients trust you on the first scroll.

This is where most studios start. We are able to do this work because the foundation's already done.

Which means every design choice has a reason. Every word earns its spot. Every page is doing something specific.

(This is also why our sites don't look like everyone else's. Strategy-first means design that actually means something.)

What your business likes like after

Notice what's not on this list: "I have a new website."
  • You stop second-guessing your messaging every time you sit down to write
  • The next time someone asks "what's your brand voice?" you send them a PDF
  • You hire a VA and they're up to speed in a week because the doc explains everything
  • Your Tuesday afternoon stops getting eaten by misaligned inquiry replies
  • You're not doing marketing at 9pm because you ran out of daylight
  • The referral who actually checks your site books, instead of bouncing

The site is the thing that ships.
The brand strategy guide is the thing that stays.

Our Signature Offer
if you're wondering

Can't I just use AI for this?

Honestly, same way your clients could just Google their symptoms instead of booking with you.

You bring something Google can't. Context. Nuance. The kind of judgment that comes from actually living in this world.

So do I. I'm not Googling "intuitive eating" before your project call.

I already know why the wrong word choice costs you the right client. I already know what your people need to see before they trust you enough to book.

That's not something you can prompt.

So the ROI isn't really "website."
It's time back.
It's discovery calls that are actually worth taking.
It's the referral who checks your site and books instead of bouncing.

dietitian turned designer

Hi, I'm Courtney

I'm a weight-inclusive dietitian who got genuinely
frustrated watching brilliant clinicians do life-changing
work behind websites that were actively embarrassing
them.

So l fixed it.

First for a few friends. Then for a hundred practices.
Now it's the whole job.

I've been building websites since around 2011 and I've
been in this field long enough that you don't have to
explain HAES to me, defend your approach, or worry I'm
going to sneak "achieve your health goals" into your
homepage copy.

I already get it. That's kind of the whole point.

I still teach nutrition at UGA. My pups Oliver & Penelope
are usually underfoot while I work. The coffee is always on.

And I genuinely love this tech stuff, which, as my husband will tell you, is a little concerning, but works out great for you and your business!

"Within just weeks, I’m already seeing more email subscribers, more engagement, and more time spent on pages."
client story

"What surprised me most is that working with her felt like having both a business coach AND a website designer."

She asked smart questions, clarified messaging, improved my funnel flow, and her copywriting is incredible.
Courtney is AMAZING to work with! She went above and beyond my expectations in every way. For years, I tried to DIY my website — and it definitely looked like it.

Courtney swept in like a tech angel and completely transformed my site and brand into something that finally matches the level of business I’m building.

She is obsessed (in the best way) with keeping site speed excellent, which is critical for a website like mine that gets thousands of visitors and runs ads for passive revenue.

She didn’t just redesign things to look pretty — she structured it for growth, SEO, speed, and long-term scalability.

I finally feel like my brand has a home that reflects the impact I want to make.

I couldn’t recommend Courtney more highly — if you want someone who truly cares about your business and brings both creativity and strategy, she’s your person.

This is perfect if...

  • You own a weight-inclusive business. This could be a private practice or any service-based business.
  • You want to invest in the foundation, not just the deliverable.
  • You value clarity, communication, and collaboration.
  • You are ready to move on from Wix or other DIY websites and want to invest in a professional website that your clients will love.
  • You appreciate a defined process and timeline — and you’re committed to showing up for it.
  • You trust that I know my stuff when it comes to websites (just like you know your stuff about ditching diet culture).

This isn't right if...

  • You want page count to dictate price. (It doesn't here. The process and the strategy do.)
  • You’re looking for a bargain over a long-term solution.
  • You're not ready to step into your expertise.
  • You want to control every design decision rather than collaborate.
  • You promote intentional weight loss and do not practice from a weight-inclusive lens.
  • You prefer to “figure things out as we go.”
  • You struggle to meet deadlines or respond to project requests

Frequently Asked Questions

I work with weight-inclusive business owners. This could be anything from dietitians like myself, therapists, coaches, trainers, massage therapists, or other service providers like interior designers!

Freaking out about feedback? Don't. My revision system makes it ridiculously easy to point and click exactly what you want changed - no awkward emails trying to explain 'that thing in the upper right corner that's kind of bluish.'

I think the real question is, do you have time to do it yourself and time to potentially lose more ideal clients? I make this process as seamless and painless as possible! Once you do the pre-work, I handle the rest of the heavy lifting and you’re good to go.

Short answer: YES

Long answer: We have our 1-hour call on the first Monday of the timeline. In the second week, you really need to set aside a lot of time each day to review the revisions I have done so that you are 100% satisfied with the website by the second Thursday. I’m fast, but if I don’t have anything to revise… then it makes things seem rushed. Then on Friday you have your launch call!

You will have 2 options:

1) Complete my copywriting questionnaires for me to use as the copy on your site.

2) Add on copywriting services and let me handle it all for you!

Yes! Our typically payment setup is 50% deposit to save your spot, then 50% before your project start date.

For payment plans:

Starter Project - 4 monthly payments

Signature Project - 6 monthly payments

Local SEO Intensive - 3 monthly payments

Yes! I can help you get your website set up properly with SEO best practices. However, it really is up to your ongoing work with your website to help it rank higher on Google. This includes a strategy with blogging, quality backlinks, keeping your site up to date, and more. Otherwise, it’s just a fancy digital brochure! Sign up for our monthly SEO services if you are serious about ranking higher.

My main focus is WordPress and Squarespace.

When I build with WordPress, and my builder of choice is Breakdance, Bricks, or the default builder - Gutenberg - depending on your site's needs.

If you use another builder like Elementor, Divi or if you're on Wix, Squarespace, or Showit, please submit an inquiry because I do have experience with those.

I typically do not recommend Wix if you have any plans to blog or grow your site in the future.

I get it!

The first step is to review all of the information on my website - you'll find most of your answers here.

Next, you can schedule your free inquiry call and I'll discuss your options and send you a detailed proposal.

Still have questions? Let's schedule a Strategy Consultation!

A gentle note about my communication boundaries:

I'm more than happy to address any questions you have, but I also want to ensure fairness to my current clients by managing my time effectively. And to keep things efficient and respect everyone's time, I won't be able to engage in lengthy email back-and-forths or revisit topics already discussed or explained in a proposal. This is why I provide so much information on my website, in my inquiry calls and proposals, and Strategy Consults.

Get a website that you're proud of AND one that attracts your dream clients.

Book a free intro call. We'll talk through where you are, what you actually need, and whether we're the right fit.

No pressure, no pitch, no weird sales energy. Just two people figuring out if this makes sense.
