Why do I need to worry about updates?

Just like the updates on your cell phone are important for security, it’s the same for your website. If updates aren’t implemented (on time!) then your website is vulnerable to hacking.

Does this include SEO services?

NO - Care Plans do not include SEO Service, but some of them do include SEO reports.

Can't I just let you check my website a few times a year?

This would be a great way for your website to become vulnerable to hacking and more issues. Website maintenance takes time on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to be effective.

Can't I do the updates myself?

Sure, you can.

The question is, do you want to?

It will take time away from your actual business and your clients, so this is one thing you can easily outsource and take off your plate. Not to mention that many times when a plug-in is updated it can cause minor issues on your site that need to be fixed.

What if I don't use my monthly support minutes?

The minutes don’t roll over because we want to be sure to address any issues when they come up!

If my site does go down, will this Care Plan cover all of the costs?

If your site goes down, a maintenance page will be put in place while I restore your site from the last backup. If there is a bigger issue that requires more than this, then my hourly rates will apply. If the site needs to be completely rebuilt, those charges will be applied. BUT, the great part is that YOU don’t have to worry about it!

How does the payment work?

The payment is automatic on a monthly basis via credit card.

Will this Care Plan guarantee my site won't be hacked or go down?

Unfortunately, no. And if anyone ever promises you that, then run away from that #redflag.

What I can promise you is that having a Care Plan will help decrease the likelihood of that happening.
