Confidently Nourished, Group Private Practice Branding & Website

group private practice dietitian website

Meet Heather Lasco, an awesome weight-inclusive registered dietitian who started her own private practice to provide inclusive and compassionate nutrition care, especially for those in eating disorder recovery. She reached out because she needed someone who specialized in branding and website design for a solo dietitian transitioning to group practice.

From solo dietitian in private practice to group

Heather’s journey from a solo practice to a growing and thriving group practice has been full of challenges and successes, and I’m pumped to share with you how we re-branded her new group practice and built a brand new website.

Confidently NourishED is a group private practice of dietitians that specialize in weight-inclusive and compassionate nutrition care for those in eating disorder recovery or for anyone interested in a weight-inclusive approach to nutrition.

Brand Strategy for Confidently NourishED

Heather has a vision to create a world with more inclusive eating disorder treatment options that aren’t rooted in weight stigma, accessible to a diverse population, and for everyone. And at Confidently NourishED their mission is to empower their clients to find their own authentic voice when it comes to nourishing their bodies.

At Confidently NourishED, they believe that each person is unique, and there is no one-size-fits-all approach to nutrition. They are committed to guiding their clients on their individual journeys toward a more positive and nourishing relationship with food and their bodies. By helping their clients develop a deeper understanding of their own needs and desires, they can help them make more satisfying choices for themselves.

Their values of accessibility to care, diversity, and inclusion, affirming care for all bodies, and compassionate care, are the foundation of their practice.

Their philosophy is centered on helping their clients connect with their intuition and supporting them on their healing journey. They view themselves as guides on this journey, providing anti-diet nutrition education and support, without judgment or shame.

Confidently NourishED’s ideal clients are those aged 11 years and up with various eating and feeding disorders, those wanting to do IE work with a HAES clinician, and those seeking weight-inclusive nutrition care for chronic conditions. They are dedicated to providing compassionate and inclusive support to help their clients confidently nourish their bodies in a way that feels authentic and true to who they are.

Overall, Heather and her team at Confidently NourishED are committed to providing personalized and supportive care to help their clients develop a more positive and nourishing relationship with food and their bodies. Their unique approach is based on weight inclusivity, accessibility, and the client’s autonomy.

Brand Identity for Confidently NourishED

Once we went through their entire brand strategy which included everything from the mission and values to their customer’s journey, we were able to move into the new brand’s visual identity.

For this dietitian’s brand identity, we wanted something that was:

With earthy elements

Their visual identity is all about vibrancy and fun while creating a sense of coziness and safety.

These are a few examples of inspiration that could be used in their branding:

  • Vibrant terracotta
  • Retro fonts
  • Fun patterns – waves, rainbows
  • Plants and nature – peonies and palm leaves
  • Photography with that is brighter and vibrant, lots of light
  • Photography with diverse races, ethnicities, and body sizes

For their color palette, the overall style is vibrant and inviting, so the color palette is no different.

The warm, coral color represents optimism and freedom, which is exactly what they want their nutrition clients to feel when working with them.

A mix of red and yellow, orange combines the passion of the former with the positivity of the latter. Bright and vibrant oranges are fun colors that burst with youthfulness, energy, and happiness. They inspire creativity and uplift people’s moods.

The color pink is the color of universal love of oneself and of others. Pink represents friendship, affection, harmony, inner peace, and approachability.

Teal combines the calming properties of blue with the renewal qualities of green. It is a revitalizing and rejuvenating color that also represents open communication and clarity of thought.

Taupe represents reliability and authenticity. Both of these are at the center of their brand values and they hope their clients feel both of these values in their actions.

I had so much fun designing their brand new fully-custom WordPress website!

They went with a 7-page package and we are adding some more pages this month as well.

I really loved drawing all of the custom graphics for this project – we did ice cream, popsicles and other tropical elements.
